Meet the “Sunflower of Happiness”, introduced in Yellow Goldfish by Stan Phelps and Rosaria Cirillo to symbolise the nine paths companies can choose to contribute to happiness for customers, employees and society. The 9 petals of this sunflower also represent the “pollen tanks” we need to keep charged as individuals to blossom towards happiness in business and life! In this episode, Rosaria takes us through these nine petals, each representing a letter of the acronym H.A.P.P.I.N.E.S.S.: Health, Autonomy, Purpose, Play, Integrity, Nature, Empathy, Simplicity, and Smile; recommending simple practices and actions that can be taken to cultivate them.
