This episode shows how God is able to strengthen those who come to Him in prayer. Elijah was depleted and wanted to die but once he consumed the bread from heaven he was able to continue the journey. Despite his previous desire and lack of drive, God enabled Elijah to continue speaking for Him. When we are down and feel we can't continue the journey remember to take that burden / problem to God in prayer. Be honest, as was Elijah, and wait for God to give you the strength needed to go forth!
