The son of a University of Memphis employee, he earned degrees from Southwest TN Community College and later on, Christian Brothers University. A prolific writer, he has written articles on race, sports, and politics. In addition, he has handled pbp for CBU baseball. In May of last year he became the inaugural voice of the PBL. "
