About The Author: Gertrude Daly is an experienced writer and blogger. In her day job, Gertrude writes operation and maintenance manuals for a materials handling company. The company creates automated guided vehicles (AGVs) used in factories and warehouses to move goods.
In her free time, Gertrude runs Gert’s Royals, a blog about European Monarchies.
Gertrude is also the co-author of two books on Plain English Medical Writing: Plain English for Doctor and Other Medical Scientists (Oxford University Press, 2017) and Diagnosing and Treating Medicus Incomprehensibilis (Oxford University Press, 2018). Gertrude has also contributed some short stories to her writing group’s annual anthologies.
