Continuously in fellowship vs. continuously in sin (1 Jn3:5-6). The inner conflict of the believer (Rom 7:15-25). Believers battle flesh and spirit until glorification (1 Jn 3:10; Ps 1:1-3). Love contrasted with hatred of Cain (1 Jn 3:11-12; Ps 37:8-9).
