Welcome to Seated With Strangers. This season we’re exploring the topic of unsubscribing from pop culture and social norms. Our Strangers paired together for this show are [Carenda], [Keagan, and [Taylor]. On today’s episode they'll be talking about are we Unsubscribing from passing down wealth to our future generation? Questions that we discussed: Do we glorify pull yourself up by the bootstrap and look down on “trust fund” kids that haven’t had to “work” for it. Our grandparents had less than we did and did more - Is it possible in this economy to consider the generation behind? Are we selling grandma’s house or keeping it? Do we not understand the value in ownership? Are we uneducated and have a responsibility to teach our community?
What's happening in the Internet Streets: Charles Barkley said he’s spending all his money before he dies and won’t leave and for his family. Anderson Cooper inherited less than $1.5 million from late mom Gloria Vanderbilt’s estate which was 200 million because she said she wasn’t leaving him an inheritance.
