I started this week's episode with a few deep breaths, feel free to join me. Inhale through the nose and slowly exhale through your mouth. At least three times.
Welcome back to the Spiritual Therapy podcast, where we will be discussing all things wellness and mental health-related for all my fellow self-healers and mental health warriors.
I’m your host, Arrianna, and thank you for tuning in again or if you’re new, welcome!
I wrote a little something for today's episode. This week was very heavy and it's not over, last week was heavy and still processing so many things all at once it's like the world is on fire and we are watching a new world emerge. A world in which I believe could be bright and beautiful if we find unity and come together to affect more change.
Unfortunately, there was another mass shooting this week. Rest in peace to all the lives lost. & prayers to the families and I have so many questions. Why does this continue to happen? How do we fix this problem? How are we as humans expected to just keep going the following day after each of these tragic events? It's such a sad thing to realize most of society is becoming numb and desensitized to mass killings. I pray one day the world will be better. I pray for those who need healing to find healing. I pray that those who may be suffering find God and know that they are not alone. I pray for better days for everyone. May healing, peace, joy, and wellness find those who need it, may have lost a little, or just need more of it. Amen -
This episode was to be all about mental health awareness and in keeping my commitment to a weekly episode this month I didn’t want to skip it. Although if I did it would have been okay and if you need to put something off for a few days to make sure you are okay mentally first. That is always what's most important. Said that to say I'm going to keep this short due to the events of this month and for respect, I am going to just end this episode with things we can do as a community to continue to spread awareness about mental health and wellness. It is needed more so than I thought.
"In every community, there is work to be done. In every nation, there are wounds to heal. In every heart, there is the power to do it. – Marianne Williamson
