Welcome to our special season for our podcast called “Being Black” This episode is about the co-creator, Jameelah Nunez, and her life in experiencing life as a mixed woman in San Diego—all through spoken words. You can follow her on Instagram at @meelaababyy. We decided to first find a way to introduce the community, society, then world to the black experience here in San Diego. This season is where we will dive deep into the stories of black individuals, black businesses, and black artist throughout their community and learning about them. We plan to promote, uplift, educate and unite all communities of colors and to do that, we must highlight the black community.
