G.I.A: Grief In Action is the story of Meela grieving the loss of her brother Mel (Jay, Jamel). This is about getting very vulnerable and transparent about the grieving process and showing up in the spaces for others that have experienced and/or are experiencing grief. This is also for those who knew my brother and are wondering how to get through, how I'm getting through, and reminding everyone that we are NOT alone.
Meela speaks on her recent loss of her brother, Jamel “Jay” Anthony Miller. These recordings are recorded on a momentary basis, to capture herself in real time while the emotions are currently present. These episodes are not here to trigger those who are experiencing current grief but as a catalyst to those who are— that you are not alone. Grief is a never ending journey and finding healthy coping mechanisms is essential in the upmost ways.
