It also includes the resolution to a bit that has been going on since the days when Max was on this podcast. In this episode, Dirk and Erik finally discuss the monarch known to this podcast thus far as El Casto. They discuss his reign, his deeds, and reveal, at long last, his actual name.
El Casto, as you may remember, was usurped by Mauregatus. He has, however, received his second chance to rule. It's the return of the king, and the coverage of a now very much built-up character. Will he prove himself worthy of this second chance? Will he live up to the expectations Dirk has created for him? Or will he be as disappointing as his immediate predecessor?
