Perimenopause is the phase in a woman's life when her hormone levels begin to shift due to the natural decline of ovarian functioning. Even though menopause happens in a woman's late 40s and early 50s, it begins in her mid-thirties. Combine those two facts, and you have a handful of years to experience symptoms of hot flashes, night sweats, low mood, weight gain, headaches, joint pain and/or sleep problems. With no plan for what to expect or how to manage these symptoms.
In this podcast, we discuss what is the best way to support your hormones during this transition? How to help you feel balanced and energetic without HRT even if you're not perimenopausal yet, but things like mood swings and difficulty sleeping are bothering you? And, what can you do about it now?
