Hey ya'll! Kayla tells us the tale of Lori Vallow and she's going to need a stiff drink after this episode.
The recent case of Lori Vallow is wild ride with countless turns, plot twists, and characters. Almost as if her lover-turned husband Chad Daybell wrote it for one of his doomsday books, but we're getting ahead of ourselves.
Lori was a beautiful and devoted wife and mother. She was married to a successful business man and they were raising two children together, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow. Their perfect lives were turned upside down when Lori discovered Chad Daybell and the books. Both were born and raised in the LDS faith, but Chad wrote books about the end of times and how to keep the faith when it happens.
Lori evolved from a fan to a lover and the two began sharing extreme beliefs. Including believing that some people were zombies and possessed by demons. These "zombies" needed to be taken care of and it was their job to do just that. It didn't matter if those "zombies" turned out to be her husband and her children. Was she motivated by her beliefs and doing what she thought was right? Or were these people just obstacles in her way and an opportunity to collect some money along the way? Was she the master puppeteer or was she a brainwashed puppet?
