In Jesus’ first sermon, he shared how there’s a blessing for those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. The blessing is the promise that they will be filled and satisfied. Jesus also instructed his followers to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. The reward of pursuing God’s kingdom and his righteousness is that every need will be supplied.
