What do you do when God doesn't show up in the way - or the timing - you expected? In John 11, Jesus receives word that His dear friend Lazarus is deathly ill. Yet, instead of rushing to heal him, Jesus delays. Lazarus dies. Grief sets in. Hope seems lost. But in the middle of that pain, Jesus makes one of the most audacious claims in all of Scripture: "I am the resurrection and the life." Even when it feels like God is late - He's still on time.
