Much of our lives will be spent in the public place. The public place is where we work; it’s where we play; it’s where we engage with family and friends and society. But our ability to function well in the public place is a direct expression of our ability to be filled in the secret place. In today’s sermon, “Stepping Away,” Pastor Ethan examines the life of Jesus and helps us model the practice of Jesus to withdraw from the public place and enter the secret place.
