In Jesus’ final prayer with his disciples before going to the cross, He prays for unity among the disciples and among those who would come to believe after them, which means Jesus was also praying for the Church today, for you and for me. Unity isn’t something that we drift into. We must fight for it through love, humility, and self-sacrifice.
