In chapter 7 we see transition from learning about the historical aspects ofDaniels life to visions for the future. Visions that reveal the Messiah will be the ruler of a spiritual kingdom that will overpower and overshadow all earthly kingdoms. Daneil's vision help us to see that we should interpret all of history in light of God's eternal kingdom
