Cami's Commentary:

When I think of the WordPress Community, Bob Dunn immediately comes to mind. We first crossed paths at a Seattle Meetup in 2013, but it was during a 2017 WordCamp in Portland that we really connected. He interviewed me, and from then on, I was hooked on podcasts.

It's worth noting: while Bob is a friend, I'm promoting his post because its message is crucial to our community. He champions the idea of lifting each other up, not always focusing on self promotion, which is also the heart of my podcast.

But how can I say that since I've been reading mostly my own blog posts? I've chosen to read my own blogs on the podcast as a warm-up. I knew nothing about how to podcast when I started this venture. The idea sprouted from a health podcast that celebrated the writings of others. I believed this concept could benefit those new to WordPress.

Echoing Bob's sentiment, I'm eager to share diverse voices on my podcast. If you have a post you'd like featured, reach out through my website. The link is in my show notes.

And a personal shout-out to my friend Bob Dunn: Your unwavering dedication to the WordPress community over the years has made a profound impact, and for that, we are all truly grateful.
