It's hard to believe that it's been 22 years since 9/11. Many of us remember the events of that day but had the comfort of viewing it all from safe a distance from the actual destruction. But many didn't, including a man who grew up in Central Kentucky but experienced the horror of the day from his apartment just across the river from the doomed Twin Towers.
