Hello Everyone, and welcome to "Memory Of Me", A podcast by me, your host, Bronagh Burke.
On Friday 27th February 2015, at the age of 24, my life was about to change forever.Then 5 years and two months later, at age of 29, my whole world collapsed. Losing my daddy and my husband the exact same way, with no symptoms, no warning, no goodbyes, just gone from this world instantly.
Nothing ever prepares you for that.
Now, after nearly 7 years living in the club that nobody really wants to be in, I want to grow and build a community, to connect and share my story with you all, and to let you know that you are never truly alone.
Let's open up and normalise the struggles that we have daily, the reality of the lives we lead, and let's have an honest conversation on each episode about what loss is truly like.
A conversation filled with so much love, sadness, and of course some laughter along the way.
So let's be each other's listening ears, and empower each other through some of toughest times life can throw our way.
