Doug “Nords” Nordmann retired at the age of 41 after 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy’s submarine force. Today, Doug Nordmann is an enthusiastic surfer, an omnivorous reader, a martial arts student, and a veteran of many chaotic home-improvement projects. He finds joy in helping people learn how to save and invest, retire early, and enjoy financial independence, through his writings on his blog The Military Financial Independence, and in several of his books. All of Doug’s writing revenue is donated to military charities.
