Claudette King, youngest daughter of BB King, talks to Darla Z about her life
growing up, her life growing up with a famous father, making it in the music
industry, and some of the tragedies she had in her life which gave her
determination to never quit and to live and fulfill her dreams.  From
being raped at the age of five, kidnapped at 11, being raped again at age 18,
and suffering from instances of domestic abuse, her life has been full of major
tragedies and trauma. Her desire to put God first has helped her through those
terrible times and given her strength to persevere. Claudette’s music and
songwriting career has spanned decades and includes being named best new
vocalist in 2011 and working with many musical greats, including Etta James.
