Brennaman, Thom talked about what it was like to work with (and spend social
time with) beloved Chicago Cub’s announcer, Harry Cary, the athletes he has
most admired during his storied broadcasting career, and the incredible
compliment he received from iconic broadcaster, Bob Costas for his call of the
Derek Jeter flip play during the MLB World Series. Thom’s personal relationship
with God, appreciation for second chances, and understanding of how humbling
life can be was truly a lesson for us all.
