Fact and fiction often come together to create a good story. Oftentimes, both have to work together to create a good one, but there are exceptions when a story can be made worthwhile by relying solely on facts, or on the general basis of facts but based on fiction. Such an example is the Battle of Thermopylae, a legendary tale of a last stand, or was it really a last stand?
