Description

After a brief hiatus, due to work, moving house and various life things, we are back with QUITE the episode!

This week we speak with Jessica Taylor FRSA. Jessica is a British feminist author and campaigner. She is a Chartered Psychologist, Sunday Times bestselling author and Director of VictimFocus.

Her books include 'Why Women Are Blamed For Everything' and 'Sexy but Psycho', and her most recent manual – the Indicative Trauma Impact Manual. It is the world’s first completely trauma-informed manual of its kind! It's designed to indicate, respond to, and understand every kind of human trauma and emotion.

In this episode we talk to Jessica about her work around understanding trauma, the way women are over diagnosed with mental illness and depression, and the knock on effect of that over diagnosis and the medication they subsequently take.

We also discuss the roles women take in society, including witches and bitches and the ways women have been categorised throughout history.

This is a fabulous episode that we really enjoyed recording and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
