It all started on a ladder while painting in my house.
I was reminded of my fear of heights. As I went up the steps, I felt it creep in.
“What if I fall?”
“What if the ladder gives way?”
My mind starting creating all of these scenarios where something went wrong. But why? I hadn’t even gotten to the top and I was already creating scenarios of dread.
This is all of us at some point. Whether it’s heights, a new job, taking a chance to chase a dream, or whatever you’ve been wanting to pursue but haven’t yet. We have all created the worst case scenario.
In this episode, I share how I’ve let this fear engulf me for too long and how I, and you, can and should battle back against the “What if?” negative rabbit hole to achieve our dreams and goals.
