Grace Martine Tandon or better known as "Daya" on stage is a singer-song writer. This interview was from 2015 as she promoted her new single. Her single at that time was Hide Away. She debuted the song in August 2015 on NBC's Today with Kathie Lee and Hoda as Z100's Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month. She returned the following summer to perform her song during NBC Today Show's Summer Concert Series. She went onto be featured on The Chainsmokers song "Don't Let Me Down", which peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. She was then invited in 2016 to perform at the White House and met President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. And in 2017, her song with The Chainsmokers went on to win a Grammy.
