Sarah is a LT in the United States Navy and is currently serving as the Surface Warfare Instructor at the University of Virginia NROTC Unit. She was born in Virginia Beach and moved to Maryland where she was raised. Sarah commissioned through the NROTC program at Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Leadership and Public Policy. When not working, she enjoys running and cooking.
She previously served as the STRIKE Officer onboard USS McCampbell and the Fire Control Officer onboard USS Spruance, both Guided Missile Destroyers. She's completed numerous patrols while forward deployed and one deployment from CONUS to the Seventh Fleet AOR.
