But why should I work on my wellbeing?



With wellbeing being such a personal and varying topic, recognising why we need to focus on this, as opposed to how, can provide a more meaningful and aligned sense of acceptance in understanding the importance of this work.



For me, wellbeing is about knowing what my point of equilibrium is, my balance/set point, and how to get back to this. This means I focus on three main areas of work; knowing what I need to maintain my energy to be able to function well, my resilience, and my ability to manage and master my emotions.



Every strategy I utilise, from meditation to daily movement, sleep, my hobbies and interests, connecting with others, these all support one of these three areas.
