బాలసాహిత్యం… ఒక కాలక్షేపం మాత్రమే కాదు. పిల్లల ఊహలకు రెక్కలిచ్చే మంత్రం. వారిలో విలువలు పెంచే మార్గదర్శి. సలహాలు అందించే నేస్తం. ఒక్కమాటలో చెప్పాలంటే తల్లి, తండ్రి, గురువులతో సమానంగా వారి జీవితాన్ని తీర్చిదిద్దే అక్షరం. దాని విలువ గ్రహించిన నారంశెట్టి ఉమామహేశ్వరరావుగా, ఓ పక్క ఉన్నతోద్యోగం చేస్తూనే వందల కథలు, వ్యాసాలు, గేయాలు సృజించారు. సాహిత్య అకాడెమీ అవార్డును సైతం అందుకున్నారు. ఆయన మాటలు కనుక వింటే సాహిత్యాన్ని మన జీవితంలో భాగంగా మార్చేసుకుంటాం!
Children’s literature isn’t just a time pass. It adds wings to their creativity, it inculcates values in their character, it’s a friend that guides them.
