Jnanpith award winner, Nilmani Phookan has recently passed away leaving a great legacy of literature. Inspired by the symbolism movement of Europe, Nilmani has written sensational works like Surya Heno Nami Ahe Ei Nadiyedi ("The sun is said to come descending by this river").
