సాధారణంగా ఎవరైనా తల్లిదండ్రుల జ్ఞాపకార్థం గుడులు కట్టించడమో.. అన్నదానాలు చేయడమో చేస్తుంటారు, కానీ అక్షరానికి ఆయుష్షు పోస్తూ, జ్ఞానాన్ని భద్రపరిచే ఒక వేదికను నిర్మిస్తున్న వీరి గురించి మీకు తెలుసా?
అవును.. గత రెండు దశాబ్దాలుగా 'మనసు ఫౌండేషన్' వారు సుమారు 3 కోట్లకు పైగా అరుదైన పేజీలను డిజిటలైజ్ చేసి తెలుగు సాహిత్య సంపదను కాపాడుతున్నారు.పల్లెటూరి యువతకు ట్రైనింగ్ ఇచ్చి మరీ ఈ డిజిటల్ యజ్ఞం చేస్తుండటం, శాసనాల కోసం సొంతంగా మిషన్లు తయారు చేసి, వాటి కాపీలను భద్రపరచడం విశేషం. ముఖ్యంగా మన దగ్గర ఏదైనా అరుదైన పుస్తకం ఉంటే దాన్ని ఫ్రీగా స్కాన్ చేసి, మన పుస్తకంతో పాటు ఒక సాఫ్ట్ కాపీని కూడా తిరిగి ఇస్తారు.

Usually, people build temples or organize charity events in memory of their parents. But these people are doing something unique—they are preserving knowledge and giving life to letters.
For the past two decades, Manasu Foundation has digitized over 3 crore rare pages, helping protect valuable Telugu literature.
What’s even more inspiring is that they train rural youth for this work, create their own machines to scan ancient inscriptions, and carefully preserve digital copies.
Most importantly, if you have any rare book, they will scan it for free and return both your original book and a digital copy.
