Eddlemans bought Muskogee Morning Times in 1897. Ora and her sister established “Twin Territories: The Indian Magazine of Oklahoma,” a monthly literary magazine, with Ora as editor and chief fiction writer. got lots of experience as writer and proofreader. By 1905, she was the Indian Department editor in “Sturm’s Statehood Magazine”. When her husband's oil exploration relocated them to Casper, WY, she became the "Sunshine Lady" on the radio.
