Hi friends!!! I leave for my mission trip so soon! Here is where my heart is at / what I’ve been learning pre-trip!! 1. God’s mission is to save people that come from every tribe, tongue, and nation. And he will be successful in that mission. REVELATION 5:9-10. 2. The authority that Jesus has is the authority that sends us out. MATTHEW 28:18-20. 3. God made a promise through Abraham that the blessing given to him would one day spread to all the nations. GENSIS 12:1-3. 4. As God blesses us, it is for the purposes of his great name being down to the world. One day the nations will be glad and shout for joy because they see the goodness of God. PSALM 67. 5. God draws the nations to Himself. God’s chosen Servant would be a light to the nation of Israel, but much more than that, he will be a light to the Gentiles so that God salvation will reach the ends of the earth. 1 KINGS 8:41-43. 6. Jesus’ final prayer before the cross was for His followers to be United as one and for the Father to send them into the world as He was sent into the world. JOHN 17:15-21.
