Rest! Thank You Jesus for rest in a busy, chaotic, dark, & changing world! Here I’ll be talking about how the Lord spoke the word “rest” over me & how He pursued me with this word for the month of January - and still continues in this pursuit now!! We can rest because it is God who does the work in & through us to bear fruit - apart from Him, we are / have nothing (John 15:1-11) We cultivate character through the Lord, His word, prayer, community, being on mission, and obeying Him, Psalm 131: there is sacrifice of our time & efforts to gain rest- but it’s worth it for the hope God gives us! Lastly, Matthew 11:28-30 JESUS IS REST! Take Him & rest in relationship not religion.
