'Saksharta' or 'literacy' in its broadest sense describes a continuum of learning and proficiency in reading, writing and using numbers throughout life and is part of a larger set of skills. Educating the underprivileged is a transformative endeavor that holds the key to breaking the chains of poverty and inequality. With this aim in mind, the Interact Club of Lotus Valley International School, Noida started a mission 'Project Saksharta' last year to educate the underprivileged. Project Saksharta 2.0 is an extension of what the Interact Club successfully started last year. By investing in the education of the disadvantaged, the Interact Club wishes to work hard to empower them to escape the limitations imposed by their circumstances and create a brighter future.
