Residents of Samburu area have embraced new charcoal-making methods that are environmentally friendly to prevent the destruction of indigenous forests in Samburu in Kwale County.
Over 250 members have undergone training by WWF on making briquettes by harvesting three branches which has prevented tree cutting in Kwale.
