Football is one of the most popular games played with a circular ball between two teams of 11 players each. It is estimated that the game is played by 250 million players worldwide with soccer being the most popular sport in the world.
Among those who love the game is Mohammed Munga, a 27-year-old boy from the Rabai constituency in Kilifi County.
At the age of 11, he had to have his leg amputated after being paralyzed by polio. However, according to him, the problem of foot deformity did not bother him, as he considers himself a person who is able to contribute to society as others, including participating in sports.
The efforts he made until his teammates accepted him and started playing football together.
And that was the beginning of Munga's success in the field of football for people with disabilities, namely Amputee Football.
