According to John’s Hopkins the current statistics surrounding those affected by endometriosis is between 2 and 10%. The challenge with that number is that there are some who don’t experience pain, many who are diagnosed with other issues (like PCOS) and are left with the one diagnosis alone and even others who are dismissed for being hypersensitive and therefore no follow up is ever done.
This week, as Endometriosis Awareness Month winds down, we have invited Dr. Jessica Liu, ND to chat with us about what endometriosis is, how it can present and what we need to know in order to be our healthiest selves and our own best advocates.
