Becoming a parent and going through the process of pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum can be one of the most amazing and exhilarating times in someone’s life. It can also be a time when there are more questions than it feels that there are answers.

Knowing that your care provider will take the time to sit with you and answer your questions and let you make decisions about your own care is a gift that our Midwives offer in Ontario.

This week we are honoured to welcome experienced midwife ‘Remi Ejiwunmi to the show. She will tell us why she does the work she does, what kind of work it is that midwives actually do and where the industry needs to go in order to compensate these extremely hard working care providers.
