Whether it is the things we buy, the relationships we engage in, the places in which we feel we need to take up space, our attachments may negatively affect the quality of our lives.

Make no mistake though, attachment in and of itself is not inherently bad or negative.  Sometimes the relationships we have with people, places and things can be deep and profound thus completely attached and healthy.  It is unhealthy when our attachment ends up hindering our personal growth, health and well-being.

Confused yet?  It can feel like a lot to sort out the differences between the good/healthy and the bad/negative.
