NOTE: Sam and Laurel will be back with a new episode next week with a focus on setting our goals and intentions for the new year!

The longest days and weeks of our lives always surround having to wait for news that we know may change the course of our lives.

Today we have the opportunity to speak with Milka Vujnovic about her journey through detection, biopsy, diagnosis, surgery, and recovery from breast cancer. Milka talks about how and why she made the decisions that she did about her own journey. She also goes on to talk about some of the most effective support networks she found for herself as she transitioned from life before her cancer diagnosis and life after.

You can learn more about these support networks by visiting:  Knot-A-Breast, the Dragonboat team at https://knotabreast.com/ https://www.instagram.com/knot.a.breast/ and the link to one of the Facebook groups she mentioned is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/328465773967406/ (Fabulously Flat; Not Reconstructing Breasts)
