Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott has said he's in full support of BCPSS CEO Dr. Sonja Santelises. Since 2016, overall student performance has declined, student population has declined, while salaries have increased. Dr. Santelises has a compensation package upwards of $400K/year while Baltimore City schools rank at the bottom in quality of education.
