Here’s a few thoughts to get you thinking… How many times do you hear someone say “ I am a natural born negotiator”?  

Perhaps what they mean REALLY is they ‘screw’ people down on price and walk away with a massive stroke of their ego.     

Did you know that long standing myths about negotiation can keep you from becoming a powerful negotiator?  

You've probably heard that emotions have no place in negotiations. 

Don't believe it. 

Reacting emotionally is not the same as emotional investment. 

If you think that personal relationships are NOT negotiations - think again!  

TEASER Angelique says, all of life is a negotiation, yet little is taught about it and negotiating myths abound and prevent you from getting the best outcomes, buy-in, and lasting relationships.  

Here are a few of those so called myths - do you recognise any?  

Personal relationships are not negotiations.  

Negotiation is like playing poker  

Toughness carries the day.  

Nice people finish last  

Never make the first move  

One either has natural ability as a negotiator or not.  

So how do we debunk these myths?
