Kelley Tyan shares with our listeners in this episode of her upbringing in a very loving home and with two loving parents. As a single child she watched her mom struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis her whole life but never complained. Kelley's mom was a tremendous witness to faith in God as she carried her bible with her at all times. She stayed active and busy with their home and family life so there was no time to complain. As Kelley explains after her mom passed away, the revelation came to her to start the Addicted To The Climb podcast and ultimately the book by the same name.
Her own life took some twists and turns as her 2 year old son was faced with a life threatening brain issue that was ultimately resolved at the World Famous hospital and medical professionals of Boston General. Later on as Kelley was ready to embark on a new endeavor at a local gym as a fitness instructor she got the call while her young son was in the car with her to inform her she had breast cancer. The ladies in her fitness class motivated her along with God's grace and strength to show up every morning early to train these amazing women who basically were her daily therapy. She attributes her faith in God and this goal of helping these women in large part to her healing process.
Now she consults and coaches other women to thrive in their lives and businesses as she is planning several retreats and growth experiences for women business leaders in 2024.
