Tune into this interview with Aleesha Barlow. As a survivor of childhood molestation by her grandfather, Aleesha started the Tell Somebody Movement. Aleesha is the author of her memoir – End Silenced Abuse: Tell Somebody and the children’s book, Tell Somebody the Basics Volume 1. Oprah Winfrey describes her as “the perfect role model for turning pain into power.” Aleesha and her family were also featured on Iylana Vanzant's - Fix My Life Show, on the Oprah Winfrey Network!
Aleesha goes to different schools to educate children about their bodies with her children’s book. She encourages them to speak up if they are being touched inappropriately. She also gives strength to other survivors, by posting a different survivor’s story of abuse on her social media platforms every day. It is Aleesha’s goal and mission to try and end child abuse.
