Description

In the bible there are many references made about the fig tree. The fig tree represented prosperity, security, safety and well-being. Israel is full of fig trees which is symbolic of the nation both spiritually and physically. Hosea says, " When I found Israel it was like seeing the early fruit on the fig tree.

I Kings 4:25 says, " Judah and Israel lived in safety, every man under his vine and fig tree. As always, the lord wants us to be fruitful and multiply. He wants us to produce fruit and when we don't we become useless like the fig tree that he cursed, by saying; may you never grow fruit again. See the tree had produced out of season, it had the appearance of fruit, but under those beautiful green leaves was nothing, no fruit. This angered the lord, so he cursed.

We must be about it and not just talk about it.
