Description

Boundaries are great, but they have to be enforced to work. Lots of people struggle with this because we want to make people happy. That means dropping what we're doing to help, or saying yes when we should say no.

Do you find yourself saying, "i'm not sure what i did this week, but i was super busy?" If thats you, you may need some work. Today's hustle culture leaves no room for extra time. That is, unless we prioritize and make room. It's one thing to enforce boundaries with others. We tell them we can't or we'll do something later. "Lets get something on the books."

The bigger question is, do you enforce boundaries with yourself? Taking time to get things done, taking breaks, actually eating lunch, carving out time to make progress on your goals. It's easy to place the blame on someone else as to why something didn't happen. It doesn't feel so great to have to accept responsibility as to why we didn't accomplish something for ourselves.

Let your gut tell you where you need improvement. Listen to your body, is it telling you to slow down? Maybe to enjoy life? Maybe that you need to take some things off your plate. You are the only one that can make the change to get the results. And those speak for themselves.
