I got to chat with Joann about so many different things. How she got started in a career and how the road she took looked very different from what she pictured. That road to the unkown can be terrifying, but can also lead to great results. Along that road sometimes we discover gifts (aka purpose) that we may brush off.
If we can learn to fight off the fear of the unkown and go with that gut instinct of where we're supposed to be, its very rewarding. This means sometimes tuning out those outside voices that tell us we're nuts, we're going to make it, we can't do it, we're not good enough, we don't have the right experience. Sometimes this also come from the inside. If we can learn to tune into that gut and go against the normal grain, we can make big things happen.
