The readings of the day are a true reflection of our own times. Times are hard for us and the Scriptures depict very similar situations. The only way we can go through these hard times are through solidarity. We must remember that if God blesses us, however small, it is so that we too can be blessings to others. As economic hardship ravages our country, may we not turn a blind eye to the Lazarus' in our community. May God bless you as you listen
